OVERVIEW

Norfolk Collegiate School is a premier independent day school in the Hampton Roads area, serving over 550 students in Pre-K through grade 12. Since its founding in 1948, Norfolk Collegiate has intentionally crafted a rigorous academic curriculum that incorporates innovative thinking and leading research in education. Through an inclusive, welcoming environment students are empowered to think critically, embrace diversity, and explore new interests as they prepare to step into - and lead - a rapidly changing world.

The school takes pride in its emphasis on academic self-discipline, responsibility, diligence, and character development, but most importantly, on its ability to foster in each student a continuing desire to learn. A love of learning and a commitment to leading lives of purpose have remained the cornerstones of the Norfolk Collegiate experience for over 70 years.
