About Us
Craftsbury Saplings, A Community Children’s Center, is a childcare initiative that is in the process of becoming a non-profit. The initiative began as a task force resulting from the Community Visit Process in Craftsbury held by the Vermont Council on Rural Development in November 2015. The goal of the task force was to address the lack of local childcare and to find a sustainable solution to that situation.
Craftsbury Saplings’ mission is to provide childcare to families in the greater Craftsbury area, emphasizing community collaboration and exploration of the natural world. We value and nourish each child’s innate wisdom, guiding them toward life-long learning.
