About Us

The National Landing Business Improvement District (BID) is a public-private partnership established to promote and activate the area’s business, retail, restaurant and residential community. Launched as the Crystal City BID in 2006, the member-driven organization expanded its boundaries and changed its name to reflect its enlarged geography in 2020.

As a dynamic, mixed-use urban center, National Landing encompasses the vibrant Arlington County neighborhoods of Crystal City, Pentagon City and Potomac Yard, and includes more than 26,000 residents, nearly 12 million square feet of office space, nearly 5,500 hotel rooms and over 450 restaurants and shops.

The BID supports and complements National Landing’s exciting transformation into the region’s premier urban, centralized downtown, steering its growth in ways that are sustainable and enhance the area’s diversity and livability.
