Musart Cultural Society

Musart Cultural Society is a non-profit that carries the dual mandate of providing much needed stages for local artists and musicians to showcase their talent, and inspiring the community to interact with that talent, and itself.

The main ways that Musart Cultural Society demonstrates its dedication to allowing growth in the arts is by organizing a series of concerts for local musicians each summer, as well as organizing an arts festival at the end of the summer. These festivals give artists the necessary platform to showcase themselves and their work to a very excited community.

By partnering with local radio stations and print magazines, Musart is also able to provide exposure for these artists, and obviously compensation for their work. Musart also creates a compilation album each year, using one track for each of the artists showcased in the performances that we organize. These compilations are sold at all of our events, with the returns divided directly amongst the talented individuals present on the cd.

Musart is also involved year round in presenting music lessons to the community, and band development programs put on by Deep Cove Music in North Vancouver.
