The Korean Medical Program (KMP) at Holy Name Medical Center was developed to address the language and cultural needs of the Korean-American population in the greater New York and New Jersey areas. It offers Korean- speaking customer representatives who greet patients, provide translation service and coordinate the patient’s care with the physician’s oflfce. Through various campaigns, such as the Walk for Mom Breast Cancer Screening campaign, the Mental Health campaign, the Diabetes Awareness and Hepatitis B Awareness campaign, the KMP seeks to provide needed services and education to the Korean community.
