    Our Programs

    Mentorship Program

    • Our Mentorship Program connects women experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. with volunteer mentors
    • Mentors offer regular one-on-one support, friendship, and encouragement
    • We help participants build personalized action plans, access resources (e.g., food, shelter, medical care), advocate on their behalf (resumes, benefits, legal), and continue support as long as needed

    Washington DC Shelter Food Distribution

    • Monthly outreach events at Harriet Tubman Women’s Shelter
    • Provide bagged lunches once a month and foster community among shelter residents
    • Used as an entry point to introduce women to mentorship opportunities and connect them to additional services

    N Street Village Partner Programming

    • A monthly community event in partnership with N Street Village
    • We offer a fun, relaxing environment to build connections, support, and a sense of belonging among participants
    • Used as an entry point to introduce women to mentorship opportunities and connect them to additional services

    Online Resource Database

    • Our online resource database provides women with a single source to find access to organizations helping to meet vital needs
    • Separate databases for New York City and Washington, D.C., listing local services like food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and more
    • Accompanied by resource maps for both NYC and DC, helping users visually find nearby support services
