  • About Us

The Volunteerism Project is a San Francisco based non-profit organization, seeks to strengthen, increase and diversify community service throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The Volunteerism Project has embarked on a research project, titled Telling the Whole Story, to describe the involvement of diverse cultural and ethnic groups in civic participation in the United States. This follows a 1999 telephone survey of 767 households conducted by The Volunteerism Project that provided a snapshot of volunteer activities throughout the Bay Area.
