Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA

  • Mission

Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA is a limited admission animal shelter whose primary mission is to find homes for the companion animals taken into our program, while providing them with necessary medical care and socialization skills until adoption. Our adoption fees include the cost to vaccinate, spay/neuter and microchip the animal. Additionally, we are dedicated to developing and adopting progressive plans and programs for our animals and the communities we serve. All of our programs are designed for public education and the promotion of companion animal adoptions.

    About Us

Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA is dedicated to the animals we accept into our program. We have been serving the Houston/Galveston Bay Area since 1967, founded as SPCA of Galveston County.

Our shelter relies on donations and minimal shelter earnings to house, feed, and provide medical care to the animals at our facility.

We do not receive any government funding. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
