    Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association's mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Our three focus areas are research, information, and advocacy. Each year the ADA - MN Area is able to provide valuable programs and life-saving resources to over 425,000 Minnesotans with diabetes and 1.4 million Minnesotans with prediabetes who are at risk for developing diabetes.
