The Mission of Green Muslims is to serve as a source in the Muslim community for spiritually-inspired environmental education, action, and reflection. We engage locally while serving as a national resource.
The Vision of Green Muslims is to see Muslims living in the environmental spirit of Islam, striving towards connection with nature and environmental stewardship.

Living the environmental spirit of Islam
Green Muslims is a volunteer-driven 501(c)3 based in the metropolitan Washington, DC area working to connect Muslims to nature and environmental activism. We host educational, service, and outdoor recreational events and strive to serve as a bridge connecting the Muslim community with local climate action organizations.
