    About Us

Gifted Children Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Middletown, New York, serving children, teens, and young adults with and without disabilities throughout the Hudson Valley. We believe every individual deserves opportunities to learn, connect, contribute, and thrive in their community.

Our programs include inclusive community classes, social and recreational activities, life skills development, volunteer and community engagement opportunities, family support, and educational programming. We proudly serve individuals with diverse learning styles and support needs, including members of the homeschooling community.

Our organization recently hosted a Neurodiversity Conference at SUNY Orange, that brought together families, educators, professionals, self-advocates, and community members to celebrate inclusion and promote understanding of neurodiversity.

We rely on dedicated volunteers, interns, and community partners to help us expand our impact. Opportunities are available year-round and include program support, student guidance, recreation assistance, social media and marketing, event planning, community outreach, administrative support, fundraising, and facilities support.

By volunteering with Gifted Children Inc., individuals have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families while gaining valuable experience, developing leadership skills, and strengthening community connections.
