Since 1856 Quaker witness has emanated from this complex of buildings in the heart of Philadelphia. It has been an organizing place for abolition, women's rights, and peace. It is a gatheing place for diverse community groups responding to local, national, and international issues. It is a sanctuary where people seek together for resolution of divisive issues.
