    About Us

AdoptableJax was founded after the tragic loss of Teenie in a car accident. In his memory, we turned pain into purpose and committed ourselves to saving the lives of animals in need. Since then, we’ve rescued over 1,000 dogs and cats from euthanasia, neglect, and abandonment.

Every animal we take in is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and given the medical and emotional care they need to heal before being placed in a loving home. Our rescue believes in responsible, compassionate care, and we are proud to have maintained a 100% spay/neuter rate for all animals that come through our doors.

Beyond rescue, our mission is to create lasting change. We’re actively working to launch low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccine clinics to serve underserved areas and help reduce shelter overpopulation. We also plan to expand into other high-euthanasia states, bringing our life-saving work to the communities that need it most.

Our rescue began with heartbreak, but Teenie’s legacy continues in every life we save. With each adoption, surgery, and second chance, we honor him by making the world better for animals.
