thread is a non-profit agency that has provided early care and learning referral services and training for early educators in Southcentral Alaska since 1986. thread is the lead agency of the Alaska Child Care Resource and Referral Network. Our mission is to advance the quality of early education and child development by empowering parents, educating child care professionals, and collaborating with our communities.
