    Founded in 1988, SJMA is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 cooperating (or interpretive) association for the San Juan National Forest (SJNF), BLM Tres Rios Field Office and BLM Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. With fourteen (14) bookstore/ visitor information offices, SJMA supports the federal land management agencies in five (5) counties throughout Southwest Colorado.
