    About Us

The School of Parent Education (SPE) is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to equipping parents, guardians, and caregivers with the knowledge and tools to foster self-awareness, effective parenting, and strong family connections. Since 2012, we’ve offered workshops, programs, and support services that empower families at every stage, helping build healthier homes and stronger communities.

Our mission is rooted in education, engagement, and empowerment-with a vision to become a global leader in parenting education and family well-being. We meet parents where they are in life, recognizing the power of knowledge, the importance of community, and the strength of family.

SPE was born from a gap we observed while working within Daddy University Inc.-many parenting resources ended around ages 6-8, and families who didn’t qualify for public assistance were often left unsupported. We exist to fill that gap and create lasting generational impact-locally, nationally, and globally.
