Gunnersbury Park Neighbourhood Association

London, England, United Kingdom

  • About Us

This Association has been created to protect one of the most important parks in West London, Gunnersbury Park. Local residents have been safeguarding this community green space for the last decade and protected it from exploitation and from being sold to developers.

The objectives of the Association are:

    a. obtain and disseminate information about what is happening in Gunnersbury Park

    b. participate in the debate with other stakeholders – park users, Councillors, the Community Interest Company (CIC), the Gunnersbury Park Trust – on any matters concerning the Park

    c. contribute to the decision-making process regarding the future of the Park

    d. ensure transparency of the CIC and the Councils’ decisions by monitoring developments

    e. secure the preservation, protection and improvement of Gunnersbury Park as a place of historic and ecological interest, beauty, rest and recreation to promote its retention as a semi-natural habitat for wild life and ensure it remains a public park for the free enjoyment of the community in perpetuity, as laid down in the Rothschild Covenant of 1926.

The Association has a Facebook page:
