First Responders Children's Foundation

New York, NY

  • About Us

The First Responders Children’s Foundation supports children of first responders who have been lost or permanently disabled in the line of duty. The Foundation provides emergency grants and college scholarships for those children, as well as special experiences to support the wellbeing of line of duty families after their tragedy. We also facilitate educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder agencies and their affiliates to benefit the children in their communities.

The Foundation recognizes that the loss of a parent impacts a child for their lifetime. We are committed to providing long-term support to ensure the needs of these children are met not only at the initial time of crisis, but into the future.
