    Our mission is to ensure that children and their classrooms in the Greater Metropolitan St. Louis Area have the basic tools for learning by transferring, at no cost, the community's surplus supplies and merchandise into the hands of teachers for school children in need. www.kidsmartstl.org

    About Us

    KidSmart opened the doors to it's Free Educational Supply Store in January 2002. KidSmart is a grassroots 501(c)3 organization which directly models the operations of other successful Free Stores throughout the United States.

    Over 90,000 local children have been identified as living at or below the poverty level. That's enough to fill the new Busch Stadium...twice. Through our On The Go! program and other distribution strategies, teachers obtain invaluable supplies and resources for their students.

    KidSmart's goal is to provide a wealth of hope, resources, and educational opportunites to inspire and enrich the educational lives of the children we serve.
