  • About Us

Mekong Quilts is a social enterprise owned by Vietnamese NGOs with 2 goals:

Provide rewarding employment to rural women & generate some profit to support social programs in the same villages. As of today 200 women are employed.

MQ sells hand made products, 60% textiles, mainly quilted, bamboo, water hyacinth, papier mâché.

The 4 shops are well located in HCMC, Hà-Nôi, Phnom Penh & Siem Reap. Online sales are still too low (4%)

The customers are mainly Australian women (30%) and from many other countries (anglo-saxon, France, Japan, Korea…). Local customers are a small minority, this we want to change.
