War Effects Organisation is anon profit Organisation which was formulated in 2008 with the aim of improving the status of the community within Lira District. The main operation areas are Ogur, Agweng, Bar ,Amach,Ngetta ,Apalla,Ojwina,Agali, Railway sub counties which are within Lira District. it plays the role advocacy for the rights of the girl child ,youth ,former child soldiers, child mothers, and those affected by the war indirectly by giving social support, livelihood, education to the vulnerable children ,environmental protection to mention but a few .However War Effects Organisation coordinates with the local leaders at the grassroot,subcounty level and up to the District {Local Government}.
