    Established in 1967, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is the only private, non-profit national organization dedicated to finding the cause of, and cure for, Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). CCFA’s mission is to fund research; provide educational resources for patients and their families, medical professionals and the public; and furnish support services for patients with IBD. These painful, chronic illnesses affect up to one million Americans. The Western New York Chapter of CCFA is committed to providing education and support services to individuals in the Western New York region affected by IBD.
