Ups and Downs Association is a volunteer-run nonprofit based in Calgary, dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and their support networks. Our mission is to foster lifelong connections, promote inclusion, and create a future without limits for people with Down syndrome.

We serve families across all stages of life—from early childhood through adulthood—by offering programs, events, and resources that encourage community, friendship, and healthy living. Our values center on inclusion, respect, empowerment, and collaboration. We believe every person deserves opportunities to thrive and be celebrated.

Through social events, educational workshops, advocacy, and family support, we work to build a strong, connected community where individuals with Down syndrome can live full, meaningful lives.
