SLIDELUCK POTSHOW (SLPS) is a non-profit arts organisation that aims to build and strengthen community around art and food. It is a forum for exposing photographers, curators, collectors, and editors to new work, while infusing the arts community with a non- commercial vitality and refreshing exchange. Every event sees the participation of local and international photographers and artists ranging from the very accomplished to the up and coming. For over eight years, SLPS has been bringing an event that combines a multimedia slideshow with a potluck dinner to cities all over the world. What began in Seattle as a grassroots effort by award-winning photographer, Casey Kelbaugh, in 2000 has now become an international cultural phenomenon. SLPS has grown exponentially and by demand and is now taking place everywhere from São Paulo, to Stockholm, and San Francisco. Past contributors include: The Guggenheim Foundation, Chuck Close, Elliott Erwitt, Gregory Crewdson, Jonas Bendiksen, Todd Hido, Elinor Carucci, Alec Soth, Spencer Tunick, Shepard Fairey, Martin Parr, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Lauren Greenfield, Vincent Laforet and many others.
