  • Mission

Mending Hearts helps women restore their lives from addiction through a long-term treatment program that offers hope and healing in a supportive community environment – regardless of their ability to pay.

    About Us

Mending Hearts is a 501(c)(3) in its 16th year of providing residential therapeutic treatment for women who suffer from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Over 90% of the women that Mending Hearts treats are homeless because of their addiction. No one is turned away because of their inability to pay. Mending Hearts provides these women with the full continuum of care depending on where they are in their addiction. From detox, medical assisted therapy, case managers, group therapy, peer mentoring, assistance with job searches, teaching them life skills and providing stable housing, their job is to provide the full support these women need to overcome their addictions and lead productive lives.

Mending Hearts has 104 beds in residential homes where the women live while they are in treatment. The average length of stay is 3-6 months, but they can continue to live at Mending Hearts for up to 2 years paying minimal rent until they get back on their feet. Last year they helped 367 women get their lives back together and conquer their addictions - over one a day.
