To welcome, serve, and celebrate the diverse spiritual wisdon and faith traditions of the Bay Area. To promote daily, enduring interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence, and to create cultures of peace, justice,a nd healing for the Earth and all living beings.
About Us
In a world fractured by religious conflict, the Interfaith Center at the Presidio provides a vital haven for dialogue, prayer, and the building of friendships among people of all religions. It is fitting that the Interfaith Center's home is the Main Post Interfaith Chapel, originally bnuilt in 1931 to serve different faith traditions at the Presidio military base. Today, the Chapel needs a major facelift and expansion to best serve the interfaith center of tomorrow - a vibrant hub for programs, events, and activities.
