About Us
SASH is a charity that works across York, North Yorkshire and the East Riding supporting 16-25 year olds who are facing homelessness. Our volunteer 'hosts' are ordinary people with a spare room who want to help young people at a time of crisis so that it does not lead to a vicious circle of homelessness and unemployment. We work closely with our volunteers to:-provide emergency accommodation service Nightstop-run Supported Lodgings projects for young people who need somewhere long term to stay-support young people to access education, training or employment-provide our 'SASH Active' programme for young people in Supported Lodgings.
