  • About Us

    Organizational History

Since 1994, Heroes Unite has provided programming, projects, and events which empower individuals to create value within the community.

From our modest beginning, Heroes Unite has grown to serve over 750 students. We began with our after-school program providing educational enrichment activities inspiring children to pursue a higher education. In addition, our domestic abuse prevention program empowered participants to live independently. Moreover, we assisted terminally ill children at Ronald McDonald house in the healing process through developing and performing self created public productions.

Currently, we are expanding our scope of services, through Giving Back Green, to educate communities on sustainable gardening, nutrition, ecological awareness, and social entrepreneurship. We anticipate that the valuable lessons learned would transfer to other areas of their lives.

In 1994, the children in Heroes Unite would never have dreamed that they could come so far through their hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Consequently, the students’ expectations of themselves, and their hopes for the future, have changed dramatically.

    Mission

Heroes Unite provides authentic cultural experiences, inspiration to achieve a higher education through scholastic enrichment, and social entrepreneurial skills to youth from low socioeconomic communities.

    Vision

We envision becoming a recognized contributor, and leader, in the global movement to restore, nurture, and sustain the quality of life in low socioeconomic families.
