    Por Vida Academy Charter High School is among one of the original charter schools in the state of Texas. For the last 22 years Por Vida has served students with learning disabilities, learning gaps, anger issues, substance abuse issues, teen parents, and any and every other student that walks through our door. Many of our students have been in and out of juvenile or jail and kicked out of their districts. We believe all students deserve an education and we also believe in a holistic approach to taking care of students needs so that they may successful in life after high school and in society.

    About Us

    We offer character development programs for students so that they are getting academics as well as tools to help them function in society. We accept all students...all ages and provide credit recovery for those who are behind. We offer any and all sports that students may be interested in to help keep them off the streets and have something to look forward to. Our goal is to help students find their strengths and purpose and then nourish them so they can reach their full potential.
