PRISON SCHOLAR FUND

The Prison Scholar Fund provides incarcerated students the tools they need to become successful members of their communities by funding college, vocational, and technical courses, and providing mentoring and counseling services. We also advocate for reform in correctional education to increase access to all.

The PSF received 501(c)(3) recognition in 2006, but had been in hiatus for the last few years. We're re-launching and building capacity. Our immediate needs include website development, grant research and proposal writing, and client services (researching past scholarship recipients and adding to database).
