    Weaver Child Development Center, Inc. is a Chartered Nonpublic/Private School s e r v i n g t h e f a m i l i e s of the greater Canton communities and serves as an educational model for students enrolled at local universities. We exist to: • provide a developmentally appropriate education to students in a Reggio-inspired, Christian environment. • advocate for students and families in our society. • support and educate families of the students we serve. • embrace families of all religious and ethnic origins. • model best educational practices for future teachers

    About Us

    The Weaver Child Development Center, Inc. operates within the framework of the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy. This philosophy is a student-centric, relationship driven approach to education. The Weaver Child Development Center, Inc. provides meaningful learning experiences for students in a unique Reggio- inspired learning environment. Each class session operates under the direction of a head teacher, an assistant teacher (as needed), and student aides. The classes are open to students from the surrounding community.

    The Weaver CDC, Inc. is a Chartered Nonpublic School (private) which also provides practical field experience for students of local colleges and universities who are preparing to teach or pursue related careers. The school is located within St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at, 515 48th ST NW Canton, OH 44709.

    Weaver CDC, Inc. is licensed & chartered by the Ohio Department of Education.
