The Steve Sanders Academy promotes its students to dream, to set goals, and to become empowered with tools that ensure higher education achievement and a vision of educational success in their lives.


The Steve Sanders Academy strives to inspire confidence in our students and support their development into the college graduates, CEO’s, entrepreneurs and community leaders of tomorrow. We cultivate a sense of belonging that allows our students to gain the courage, motivation, self-confidence and determination to dream big, make plans and take responsible action for their education success.

O.N.E. Philosophy: The O.N.E. philosophy expands on the schools five-point focus plan for achieving success community wide. It encourages focus, teamwork, and a single community approach for the students of SSA. By aligning leadership efforts toward a common definition of success and optimizing our collective strengths citywide. The elements of ONE are:
O.N.E. Team
O.N.E. emphasizes the importance of working together as one team to achieve better leadership and guidance for our students, which is measured by satisfaction of our students, parents and other essential organization partners, such as our supporters, donors, and small businesses.
O.N.E. Plan
Our five point plan consists of: accelerating the development of our students educational achievements, paying close attention to students personal development, impacting and developing the community and families of our students, offering after-school services to all the youth of the surrounding communities and partnering with local businesses, non-profit organizations and community leaders to leverage our resources throughout the city of Cleveland.
O.N.E. Goal
The goal of O.N.E. is to create educational success through community and personal development of our students as well as other youth of the surrounding communities. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved on our students' learning.
