    In the New York region, St. Bernard Project is working with several local partners to help respond quickly and effectively to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Using an vertically integrated, volunteer-driven construction model refined in New Orleans, LA and Joplin, MO, SBPNY and its partners in Staten Island, Rockaway, and Long Island are returning displaced families to their homes quickly and affordably.
