About Us

The RRC employs a unique, holistic approach to sustainable community development by supporting local residents in efforts to promote the physical and spiritual development of the community. RRC is a nonprofit community development corporation founded in 1989 with the initial mission of revitalizing the Reynoldstown community, one of the oldest African American neighborhoods in Atlanta. Since then RRC has expanded to offer its holistic model and services to other communities across the metro Atlanta area. RRC's three primary business lines are integrated, with community building goals underpinning all areas of operation: Housing Development; Community Building; and The HomeOwnership Center. To promote neighborhood stabilization throughout the Atlanta area during the current housing crisis, RRC has increased efforts to offer financial education services and foreclosure prevention counseling to the communities and families it serves.
