RUWDEC aims at fighting against poverty in the rural communities and enhance economic progress through project development, information technology, resource management, social organisation, training and appropriate land use

The Objectives are:

• promote/foster gender equality.
• educate the rural people on basic hygiene for better health.
• educate and promote on the sustainable use of natural resources.
• Enhance development through capacity building and the transfer of appropriate technology.
• Educate/sensitize against alcoholism, drugs,HIV/AIDS and other STIs.
• Promote wealth creation through micro credit.
• Promote Family Life Education Progammes
• Promote organic agricultural practices
• Promote and enhance development through appropriate land use.
