Mission
The Treasure Shop operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for making donations to local charitable organizations that benefit the military community. We sell gently used USN uniform items and household goods - no civilian clothing.
About Us
Chartered in 1973 and staffed entirely by volunteers, the Treasure Shop has made over $1,200,000 in charitable contributions to LOCAL charities that support our Active Duty & Reserve, veterans, retirees, and their families. Donate your unused uniforms or household items - tax receipt provided upon request.
In August of each year all proceeds from Shop sales are totaled and the Shop’s Board of Directors (day managers, uniform manager, Advisor, and bookkeeper) vote to distribute the funds among at least 20 local charitable organizations. The annual list of charitable distributions is posted at the Shop and the current list is available upon request. The Treasure Shop Bylaws are also available upon request.
