The ALS Association (ALSA) is the only national not-for-profit voluntary health organization, dedicated solely to the fight against ALS through research, patient support, information dissemination and public policy. The ALS Association, Greater Sacramento Chapter seeks to improve the quality of life for ALS patients, families and caregivers; to promote community awareness and education about ALS, and to support efforts to find a cure. The Sacramento Chapter serves people with ALS, their families, caregivers and health care professionals throughout 24 northern California counties.
