About Us

The Utah 4-H Program works to provide youth in Utah with positive learning experiences through the 4-H Youth Development Program. A balanced 4-H program includes project work, fun activities, community service projects and participation in county and state 4-H events.

With the help of volunteer adult and/or teen leaders, 4-H members learn and grow by completing projects in over 100 different areas, including computers, raising guide dog puppies, cake decorating, clowning, shooting sports, horsemanship, etc.

A project is a planned series of learning experiences through which youth develop knowledge, skills and/or attitudes. Each 4-H club is also encouraged to do community service projects that relate to their project area. Learning experiences are hands-on, motivating and FUN!

4-H events include county fairs, camps and retreats. State and National events include camps, contests, and leadership training.
