About Us

The New York Junior League (NYJL) is one of the oldest and largest women’s non-profit volunteer organizations in New York City. The NYJL is committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the New York City community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  With over 2,800 volunteers – of all races, religions, and ethnicities – the NYJL is able to account for more than 250,000 hours of community service every year.
