    INK: The Vidahlia Press & Publishing House Prison Writing Contest, a nonprofit organization, provides opportunities for those incarcerated in federal, state, and county institutions to improve and utilize their writing skills as an outlet for artistic literary expression. We offer participants creative writing scholarships as a means to further their education and positively engage them through correspondence. Lastly we provide support to ending mass incarceration and recidivism by offering an opportunity to meet the rigors and requirements of a commercially successful literary artist including the opportunity for publication.
