    Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend-long annual event that allows the public free, behind-the-scenes access to buildings in the City of Minneapolis that are architecturally, culturally, or socially significant. Venues that are historical, in current use, or being planned are all participants.

    About Us

    Doors Open Minneapolis is being produced in collaboration with the City of Minneapolis Mayor’s Office and the American Institute of Architects (AIA-MPLS), and sponsors are: Presenting Sponsor Comcast, Andersen Corporation, United Properties, the Minneapolis Foundation, Meet Minneapolis, Downtown Council, VAA Engineering, Xcel Energy, Ackerberg, Hennepin Healthcare, Bellisio Foods, Minneapolis Building & Construction Trades Council, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, the Star Tribune, The Woman’s Club, Canopy by Hilton, Lime, IATSE (Intl.
