Vision:

We envision the creation of thriving, self-reliant, inclusive communities in inner-city Houston.

Mission:

NRCDC's mission is to revitalize defined target areas in Houston, to encourage economic development and investment, to effectively provide and encourage the development of housing for person of low and moderate income, and to work with other private and public entities to bring about the revitalization of these communities.

NRCDC is an IRS tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization established in Houston, TX in 1990.

NRCDC takes a comprehensive approach to community development. This comprehensive and holistic approach features affordable housing development (for sale and rental) (single and multi-family), commercial and economic development, financial literacy, and educational enhancements along with community empowerment and asset building.

NRCDC is governed by a 9 member Board of directors.
