    Tenderloin Community School is a PreK-5 public school that is part of the San Francisco Unified School District. The mission of the school is to provide students with quality instruction and tools to become lifelong learners, facilitate their engagement in learning, promote social emotional development and independence and provide support, resources and engagement opportunities to families. We serve a diverse population of students: 39.82% are Hispanic / Latinx; 14.2% are Asian, primarily Vietnamese; 12.16% are African American; 13.07% are Middle Eastern; 6.38% are Two or More Races; and 3.95% are Filipino. The core values of the school and the school district are the following: Student-centered; Fearless; United; Social Justice; and Diversity Driven.
