North Central Area Agency on Aging in Hartford

We are looking for individuals interested in being trained to deliver in-person sessions on Medicare Fraud, Scams and Prevention to Seniors and Elderly in the Hartford, CT area. This position is ideal for those who want a more casual but consistent volunteering experience. You can pass out brochures to Nursing Homes, Senior Centers, Libraries, Elderly Events, Fairs and other senior recreational events. With job specific training available, we prepare you on how to deliver Preventative and Educational Outreach Program, activities, and Information. Help lead Group Education or put your Administrative skills to work helping out in the office!!

We are always in need of leaders and people who are fluent in other languages are especially helpful.

If you are available 2 to 3 times a month (your choice when) for about 1 to 2 hours a day, than our CT Seniors NEEDS YOU!!

We keep people in their homes as long as possible and out of nursing homes. We all have a preference about how we would like to spend our later years. NCAAA helps support that. We advocate for the rights of older adults and the issues they face through outreach and education. We know there are a lot of people out there who do not know where to turn. We have been doing this for over 40 years and provided services to thousands of older adults in North Central CT. We are part of a national eldercare consortium. There are over 600 Area Agencies on Aging across the Unites States.
