    OUR MISSION

    To improve the environment for and access to sexual and reproductive health education, counseling, and clinical services for South Carolinians ages 30 and younger.

    OUR AREAS OF IMPACT

    Education:

    To increase access to age-appropriate, medically accurate

    sexual and reproductive health education.

    Health Care Access:

    To increase young people’s access to sexual and reproductive

    health counseling and preventative services.

    Public Policy:

    Toimprove local and state policies related to sexual and reproductive health.

    OUR FOCUS AREAS

    We currently focus our resources and energies to succeed within the following four areas:

    1) Improve sexual and reproductive health education in public schools by improving local and state policies, such as the state Comprehensive Health Education Act of1988;

    2) Increase young peoples’ access to community-based sexual and reproductive health education and local clinical services;

    3) Expand Choose Well, our statewide contraceptive access campaign to increase availability of, and access to, contraceptives in publicly funded, post-secondary campus health centers and in publicly funded community health centers; and

    4) Expand professional training opportunities about highly effective contraceptive methods contraceptives and best clinical practices.
