  • About Us

Our mission at The Gardens at Heather Farm is to educate and inspire our community about sustainable gardening and stewardship practices that preserve and protect our enviornment.

Along with being a self-supprting 501 3C non-profit, GHF is also a certified green business and wildlife sanctuary with 24 demonstration gardens on six acres that adjoins the city of Walnut Creek's 100 acre Heather Farm. Our Youth Education Department’s Natural Science Classroom series serves 12,000 school children each year with hands on experience on important topics such as water conservation, the preservation of native species, and how to compost.

The Gardens at Heather Farm is also the perfect location to hold your upcoming wedding, birthday, memorial service, or meeting!
