Ada Jenkins Center
The mission of the Ada Jenkins Center is to improve the quality of life for the residents of our communities through the integrated delivery of health, education and human services. The center serves individuals along the I-77 corridor from Huntersville to Troutman, crossing city and town boundaries and county boundaries. We are based on a philosophy of collaboration and partnership working closely with many other organizations.
The Center was originally a school and is stil referred to by many as the "school house." We are named for the school's Principal who was a true example of a grassroots comunity developer. It is a community gathering place as well as a place that offers hope to those in crisis or those who just need a litle affirmation to stay on the path toward self sufficiency.
