    The program emphasizes auditing, financial reporting, and tax research strategies and techniques combined with effective business writing and professional presentation skills. Students work closely with their academic advisor to design a course of study that best suits their future career objectives and prior coursework.

    Most classes are scheduled during the day, generally in 3 hour blocks of time. All accounting classes are taught by full-time faculty members, many of whom have been recognized for excellence in teaching. The program incorporates guest speakers and career building skills to enhance the connection between the classroom and future careers.
