    About Us: The Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center is the birthplace and family home of artist Edward Hopper and now operates as a museum and study center presenting collections of Hopper’s works on paper as well as contemporary artists inspired by Hopper’s work. Our mission is to celebrate Hopper’s legacy while serving as a resource for scholars and artists and nurturing community engagement in the arts.

    Role: The Edward Hopper House is looking for a Program Manager to organize, manage and develop programs and activities at the Museum. We are looking for a dynamic, action-oriented individual with an interest in museums, education and administration. You will be in charge of our Nighthawks Teen Leadership Program, family programs and engagement, community outreach and grant reporting, and may provide support with public programs, artist programs, and school programs. This role is critical to the organization as you enhance our visitors’ cultural and intellectual engagement with our institution. You will work cross functionally and collaboratively with the Director to outline objectives, initiatives and strategies to further the engagement of our youth, artists and greater community.

    Job Responsibilities: Museum Education; Nighthawks Teen Leadership Program: The Nighthawks is an award winning after school youth leadership program for students grades 7-12. You will recruit and manage training sessions and weekend activities of 15-20 students; Family Programs: Create and oversee marketing and execution of programs for families (ages 5-12); Artist and Public Programs: Provide support for public programs for adults (lectures, presentations), and artists members; Outreach Efforts: Collaborate with Director on community engagement initiatives.
