    About Us

    The American Legion Tattler Post #973 is a local post of the Congressionally chartered national wartime veteran service organization. The post was formed in 1946 upon the return of men and women from the neighborhood from their assigments during World War 2. The American Legion offers a wide range of programs focused on veterans' services, youth development, and community engagement. These programs include American Legion Baseball, Boys State/Girls State, Junior Shooting Sports, Oratorical Contest, Sons of the American Legion, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
